While we don’t monetarily compensate our writers, you do gain the notoriety, voice and audience for your own platforms, whether it’s your burgeoning Instagram influencer account, drawing attention to your cause—or if you’re like us—just writing for the community we love. And of course, for the fun of it.

Contributor Protocol

Once we accept your contributor application, we’ll set you up your own log-in to this website to write your piece.

If you’re unfamiliar with Squarespace, please read through this tutorial on how to create a blog. If you still need help, no prob. Just email your piece along with any pics to our managing editor and she’ll go ahead and add it to the website for you.

We’ll also be adding your bio and pic to our Staff page, along with any social links you’d like to add.

While you can Tag your post in any way you’d like, you’ll be assigned a Category under which your posts will be organized (i.e. “Business Bravery”).

Once you’re finished writing and adding your pics and videos, don’t worry about formatting it to make it look good. Just hit the “Save” option (do not hit “Save and Publish”) and our managing editor/web designer will be popping into your post to check your grammar and rearrange stuff to look good.😊

Please note that we are a family-friendly site with wholesome content. While we do toe that snarky edge here and there, we keep our language clean, our attitudes positive, and our opinions light-hearted.
